Her life becomes totally different and hard to believe.Beautiful story about two people finding each other.Callie was adopted by tell me who were apothecaries in the small village. She was trained up to take over when they were to retire. On her 15th birthday, her dad's left to go to a small village a few hours away. It wasn't till the next day that she is told her dad's were dead. Now almost 20, she's taken on an apprentice. This particular day she's on the road home after picking up herbs and other items from the first when she is hit by a carriage. The nobleman who steps out is set to kill her for harming his horses. He's shot dead. Then strange things start to happen to Callie. The least of e which is a tiger, black and white striped, who rescues her and is ready to give his life for her. They flee from people who are after Calli for her magic. Surprise! At least for her it is! From one adventure to another her life will never be the same.Fantastic story!! Holds your attention till the last page!?Isadora Childs is sent from England to America to become the bride of Desmond Waters. One night four weeks later she hears a commotion outside and watches as a woman tosses not only a man out but all his stuff. Her first irreverent thought is that she wished she had popcorn to watch the show. The next morning at the local pub, she meets the guy who was the toss out. He introduces himself as Arthur. Surprising himself, he invites her to go fishing with him and his sister. A few days later Arthur, his sister and Emma are at a lake fishing. Emma is still reeling from accepting the invitation and Arthur is still reeling from inviting her. Briar was adopted to a human couple when he was 5 and even when they found out about his abilities they helped him with not only how to control it but hide it also. Forward another decade an alot of teenage angst which including getting caught hacking, and Briar has a great job he got from that hacking and being caught. He has two good friends and one day they return to his place to see a moving van with a new neighbor, Berlin, and anthropology woman working on her PHd. Briar and Berlin are drawn to each other and after two weeks share a moment. Then an argument ensues which has Briar moving to Washington state. Then weeks later, Berlin discovers she's pregnant. Unfortunately Berlin needs to find a way to hide herself and her baby from her family.WOW! Another fantastic story of the, as they are called, The Original Forsaken. This story will have you bouncing between joy and sorrow and just wanting to slap someone just for being an idiot. lolThis box set has books that are in different series. Each story was a good read. The only problem was that it was not an invite story. It lead to the next book in the series. Just read each story and forgot about the other stpry.
What an amazing array of shifter novels! With a teaser at the end. Better yet was being able to buy boxed sets! But all the stories left me wanting to read more.

I received an ARC of this set in exchange for an honest review. The books span Werewolves, Bears, and Dragons (oh My!) from the Pacific Northwest to fantastical realms of darkness. Several of the books dove tail into each other which is lovely! They are all so well written, the characters all so rich I am motivated to find the other books in the series'. I have read a number of books by Lisa Daniels before. Always happy with the stories and characters that she weaves. Mia Taylor is a new author for me. Her writing is a happy discovery for me! Her characters are smart, engaging, and the books were hard to put down! You won't be disappointed in this set. You WILL be looking for the rest of the books to finish out the stories!
